This paper investigates the influence of socioeconomic factors on academic achievement among primary school students. Socioeconomic status (SES) has long been recognized as a crucial determinant of educational outcomes, with disparities in resources and opportunities affecting students' performance. Through a comprehensive review of existing literature, this study examines various socioeconomic factors such as parental education, income level, family structure, and neighborhood characteristics, and their association with academic success. Additionally, it explores the mechanisms through which these factors exert their influence and discusses potential interventions to mitigate the impact of socioeconomic disparities on educational attainment. The findings underscore the importance of addressing socioeconomic inequalities to promote equity and enhance academic outcomes in primary education.
